Participation Form & Fee Due: April 16th, by 11:59 PM
Rehearsal Dates: 11:30-5pm at Carousel Dance Centre every Sunday starting May 3rd, 2026 and ending June 28th, 2026
Photoshoot Date: May 23rd, 2026, time and location TBD
Group Bonding Event: June 6th, 2026, time and location TBD
In-studio Dress Rehearsal: July 3rd, 2026 at Carousel Dance Centre
Performance & Theatre Rehearsal: July 4th, 2026 at Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts
There is a $60 fee for non-members, and $42 fee for RDP members. If you would like to perform an extra piece (solo $10), duet/trio ($5 per dancer) you can do that here. There will be no opportunities for dancers to perform solos or duets/trios if they did not pay the additional fee before the start of the program
T-Shirts/ Merchandise
Dancers are required to have some element of RDP merchandise. If you do not have any RDP merch, they are available for purchase for $10 through our main 2026 Summer page.
2026 Summer Showcase Participant Sign Up
Participants may only miss 2 rehearsals to stay in the full scope of the program.
If dancers miss 3+ rehearsals, they will be allowed to stay in the large group piece and the optional opening piece, but may be removed from small groups. This will be up to the discretion of the choreographer and can be an open conversation depending on the situation.
If dancers know they will miss at least 2 rehearsals before the start of the program, we ask that they contact the directors to have a discussion on which pieces they should be cast in.
If you are unable to attend a rehearsal for reasons other than illness, you must provide at least 24 hours notice to our Performance Coordinator Naomi.
If Naomi has not heard from you within the first 15 minutes of your first rehearsal of the day, she will reach out with your phone number provided to make sure that everything is ok. Your number will only be shared between Naomi, Marina and Ciera for this purpose and any emergencies.
If you are ill, please still contact Naomi so that we can keep track of attendance. This will not count as an unexcused absence.
Unexcused absences (failure to notify within 24 hours) may result in removal from small groups under the conditions mentioned above.
Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable. Fees contribute to studio and theatre rentals, and other project expenses.
Voluntarily dropping out of the program after confirmation of participation will result in forfeiture of the participation fee if done before the start of the program.
An additional $25 withdrawal fine per dance will be required if dancers drop out during the course of the program.
Additionally, if dancers choose to pull their extra pieces, they will forfeit their additional fee. It is important for us to know how many dances will be in the show as soon as possible for show preparation purposes.
